Girish qualified from Bangalore University in India and obtained Masters in Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthetics from University of Kerala in 1997.After spending time in teaching and clinical practice, Over the past 15 years he is involved in providing dental implant and oral surgery service. He is a GDC registered Specialist Oral Surgeon, owns Ochilview Dental and Oral Surgery, Armadale and provides similar service in Meadowbank Dental Practice, Edinburgh. He has an extensive experience in placing and restoring dental implants. Formerly he was Associate Specialist in OMFS with over 18 years experience in hospital dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He is closely involved in teaching and training in oral surgery and implantology for a number of years and lectures locally and internationally. Girish has many publications and presentations to his credit. He enjoys mentoring candidates in implant dentistry and has helped many practitioners develop their career in implant dentistry.
